Everything you need to know about booking your appointment

Who To See

We have various members of our team that can help you. Choosing the right member of our team can mean you get the best care possible. For some issues you can refer yourself to a service without needing to see a GP first and other issues can be safely treated at home. Use the link below to check our Health Information page and see how best to get the help you need.

Our Appointment Types

  • Routine Appointments – available up to 7 days in advance, providing the most flexibility for choosing a convenient time or particular member of the team
  • Urgent Appointments – available to book on the day for issues that cannot safely wait for a routine appointment
  • In Person Appointments – appointments at the surgery where you speak with a team member in person. They’re the best choice for new issues or anything that might require an examination
  • Telephone Appointments – best for follow-up appointments or discussions with a team member that won’t require an examination, such as medication reviews or discussions about test results
  • Online Request for Advice – an online form that you can complete and send to your GP. We’ll usually reply within 2 working days. They aren’t a substitute for an appointment. They’re best used for simple queries or advice and for administrative tasks such as sick notes

Home Visits

If you feel you are unable to attend the surgery due to illness or injury, you can request a home visit.  As there are good disabled parking facilities and we can provide wheelchairs on request, we would prefer patients to visit the Practice if at all possible so that they have access to all of our facilities.

If you feel that you need a home visit, please contact the surgery 8.30am and 11am.  Emergency requests can be made at any time during normal surgery hours.
